More Redwood Falls city facilities are reopening now, or will be soon, on a limited basis.

The Redwood Falls Aquatic Center will be open for part of this summer, at 50 percent capacity. Community Center staff hope to have an announcement on an opening day soon. Session Two and Three swimming lessons are still scheduled, and RACC staff are accepting registrations for swimming lessons.

The Redwood Area Community Center is set to open Wednesday, June 10, for normal summer hours. The fitness room, track, and courts will be available only to members, new members, and punch pass holders for the time being. Masks are not required but are recommended, and you must be 16 years of age or older or accompanied by an adult to be at the RACC. The facility is currently for individual use only. No congregation of people will be allowed, and the senior adult group fitness will not be allowed at this time.

Also the Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations and team fees for adult and youth recreation summer activities.

Finally, the Redwood Falls Public Library meeting room is now open for adults to read newspapers and magazines from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. No children are allowed and no restrooms are currently available. Library staff asks you enter through the patio doors, and there is a limit of six adults in the room.
