On Monday, Prairies Edge Casino Resort near Granite Falls became the first casino to reopen in Minnesota.

Kevin Jensvold, Upper Sioux Community Tribal Chairman, said the casino managers made the decision to reopen only after they were assured they met or exceeded all recommended safety guidelines:
