Redwood County now reports 62 COVID-19 positive cases but no deaths, according to the Minnesota Department of Health on Monday morning. Also reporting no deaths are Chippewa County, which reports 135 positive tests, and Cottonwood County, with 203 COVID-19 cases.

Renville County reports 84 cases, with six deaths as of Monday. In nearby counties, Watonwan now reports 443 cases with four deaths, Yellow Medicine claims 87 cases with one death, Brown County has reported 128 COVID-19 cases with two deaths. Kandiyohi County reports one death out of 816 positive test results.

A Waseca County resident, who was over 70 years old and a resident of a long-term care facility, was the lone COVID-19 death reported by state health officials Monday. The single death was the lowest number reported in Minnesota since there were no deaths reported April 13th.

Hospitalizations decreased by nine since the previous report, with 306 people currently hospitalized, 131 in intensive care.
