COVID-19 News: Lac Qui Parle Valley cross-country team quarantined after member tests positive

The Lac Qui Parle Valley cross-country team is currently on 14-day quarantine because a member tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement from the school, the administration was informed on Wednesday of the positive test. The team’s last contact with that student was at practice on Friday, Sept. 4.

After consulting with the Minnesota Department of Health and Countryside Public Health, all members of the Lac Qui Parle Valley cross-country team, students and coaches, were sent home.

Students who are not members of the cross-country team do not need to quarantine at this time. Should that information change, families will be notified.
