With Governor Walz’s Executive Order Wednesday extending the shutdown of some businesses until May 1, many people have wondered what the state officially considers an “essential business”.

On Wednesday, after the governor’s speech, the state website listing “essential businesses” was apparently one of the most requested in Minnesota’s Internet, and was difficult to open.
