Clara City residents arrested during Kandiyohi County search for stolen property

Two Clara City residents were arrested during a search for stolen property in Kandiyohi County on Thursday.

On Feb. 2, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, along with the West Central SWAT Team, performed a search warrant for stolen property in the 600 block of 1st Street NE in Clara City.

During the search, two occupants of the residence were taken into custody and booked into the Kandiyohi County jail: a 53 year old male, and a 36 year old female, both of Clara City. Both are currently being held on charges from Kandiyohi and Chippewa Counties for theft, weapons possession, and possession of controlled substances.

The case remains under investigation by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, which was assisted by the West Central SWAT Team, Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.
