As of Monday, Dec. 30, CentraCare EMS is providing ambulance services in the Redwood Falls area, replacing North Ambulance.

Starting on the morning of Monday, Dec. 30, CentraCare Emergency Medical Services is the new provider for emergency medical services (EMS) in the Redwood Falls area. EMS services include ground medical transport and paramedic/EMT support for Rsedwood Falls and surrounding communities in southwestern Minnesota.

CentraCare Emergency Medical Services will provide the same Emergency 911 response and non-emergency transfer services as North Ambulance Service, with the same paramedics and EMTs.

CentraCare currently operates emergency medical services in Willmar, Monticello, Long Prairie and Paynesville and will be operating three rigs in the Redwood Falls region, the same number of ambulances and staff that were previously providing service to the area.

North Memorial Health Air Care will continue to operate out of the Redwood Falls Airport.
