Starting immediately, updated visitor guidelines take effect allowing one healthy adult visitor at all Carris Health – Redwood sites and two adult visitors will be allowed for minor patients.

These new guidelines do not pertain to Carris Health’s long-term care facilities because of different regulations for vulnerable populations.

This update comes after strict visitor guidelines were implemented during the COVID-19 surge the area experienced in the fall/early winter. As COVID-19 case numbers within CentraCare and Carris Health facilities remain manageable, staff are cautiously optimistic these new guidelines will offer patients a balance of safety and family support while receiving care.

Visitors must be healthy and not have symptoms of COVID-19. Staff ask that any visitors entering Carris Health – Redwood buildings wear a mask that covers both their nose and mouth. Upon entering, all visitors will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
