Bystanders helped a wounded Kansas City truck driver out of his truck after it rolled over in Redwood County Wednesday morning.

According to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, at about 11:48 a.m. on Oct. 26, Leroy Simpson Brown, age 33, of Kansas City, Missouri, was westbound on County Road 46. Near the intersection with County Road 8, Brown’s 2019 International truck lost control on a curve and rolled over onto its side, where Brown was trapped inside.

People driving by on the highway were able to extricate Brown from the truck. He was transported to Carris Health – Redwood with assumed non-life threatening injuries.
