Brainerd motorcyclist injured in Yellow Medicine County crash Saturday

A motorcyclist from Brainerd was injured when his cycle crashed in Yellow Medicine County Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on July 9, Douglas Scott Eide, age 56, was riding his 2020 Indian Chieftain southbound on Highway 23. At about 2:25 p.m., near the intersection with County Road 2, Eide lost control of the cycle and entered the ditch.

Eide was transported to the hospital in Marshall with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
