Brainerd motorcyclist injured in Kandiyohi County collision Saturday

A Brainerd motorcyclist was injured in a Kandiyohi County collision Saturday morning.

According to the state patrol, at about 10:54 a.m. on Aug. 8, Loni Dean Ledoux, age 70, of Brainerd was westbound on Highway 23 near the intersection of County Road 2.

At the same time, a 2019 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Lucy Veronica Hoppe, age 61, of Eden Valley was also on Highway 23, waiting to make a turn onto County Road 2, when Ledoux collided with her vehicle.

Ledoux was taken to the hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Department and New London Ambulance assisted at the scene.
