Boy Arrested In Connection With Willmar Stabbing

An arrest has been made in a stabbing last week in Willmar.

On Friday Nov. 12, Willmar Police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on Southwest Becker Avenue, and found a man suffering from stab wounds.   The victim was taken to Carris Rice Hospital and later transferred to St. Cloud.

On Wednesday Willmar Police arrested a juvenile male for 2nd Degree Assault, and he is being held at Prairie Lakes Juvenile Programs in Willmar.   Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other.
