Bird Island woman injured in Renville County accident Saturday

A Bird Island woman was injured when her vehicle went off the road in Renville County Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 11:26 p.m. on June 19, Paula Rubi Ramirez, age 22, of Bird Island, was westbound on Highway 212. Near the intersection of 370th Street, Ramirez’s 2001 Toyota went off the road and collided with a sign and power pole. Ramirez was transported to a medical facility with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Olivia Police Department, and Olivia Ambulance.
