A Benson man was arrested for DUI on Monday after the vehicle he was driving rolled over in Kandiyohi County.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, on March 6, Tyrel Kaiser, age 40, of Benson, was driving a 2000 Cadillac Seville northward on County Road 8 when he left the road and rolled.

Kaiser was not injured, but both of his passengers were transported to CentraCare / Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar by ambulance: Marilou Coulston, age 46, of Lake Lillian, and Marie Baker, age 60, of Bird Island.

Kaiser was arrested for Criminal Vehicular Operation, and Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

Assisting on the scene were the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota DNR, Kandiyohi First Responders and Fire Department, Kandiyohi County Rescue, Atwater Ambulance, CentraCare Ambulance, and Life Link.
