Belview American Legion Burglarized Monday

The Redwood County Sherrif’s Office is looking for information on a burglary at the Belview American Legion.

The incident happened early Monday morning at about 2:45 a.m. The sheriff’s office says forced entry was made into the building’s back door and about $600 was stolen.

Earlier accounts and rumors connected with this burglary suggested a certain pickup truck noted on security cameras was involved. However, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office later stated that pickup had been investigated, and is no longer considered involved in the crime.
