Normally, KLGR wouldn’t consider a garage sale-type situation to be “news”, but in this case we’re willing to make an exception. Because of its move into the newly constructed Justice Center, Redwood County will host a surplus sale of various office furnishings from the former Courthouse.

Items for sale include desks, tables, office chairs, file cabinets, shelving, and other miscellaneous items. The sale will be cash and carry only and priced to sell.  All items will be sold as is, and must be loaded by the buyer and removed that day. This is a first come first served sale, reserving or holding items will not be permitted.

The public is invited to attend Redwood County’s surplus sale at the Redwood County Fairgrounds on Thursday, Aug. 25 and Friday, Aug. 26, 2022.

The surplus sale will be held at the Redwood County Fairgrounds, 4-H Exhibit building at 201 North Dekalb Street, Redwood Falls. All items will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Questions regarding the sale can be directed to Loren Gewerth at (507) 430-1765 or Dean Martin at (530) 917-8473. Additional information, and images of items for sale are available at redwoodcounty-mn.us or Redwood County Facebook page.
