79 year old woman dragged 400 yards by farm equipment in Kandiyohi County Wednesday

A 79 year old woman was dragged about 400 yards by farm equipment in Kandiyohi County Wednesday afternoon.

On April 21, at about 4:18 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 18000 block of Hwy 12 NE about a report of an accident involving a piece of farm equipment and an individual. Deputies discovered a 79 year old female from Atwater was entangled in the piece of farm equipment, and had been dragged approximately 400 yards in a field. The woman was transported by Life Link air ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting the sheriff’s office were the Atwater Ambulance Service, Atwater Fire Department, Carris Health Ambulance Service and Life Link.
