State health officials are blaming influenza for 15 more deaths in Minnesota.

A total of 110 people have died of complications from the flu season – including the third child last week.

Flu outbreaks in Minnesota schools dropped from 43 during the final week in February to 22 in the week ending March 7.

Hospitalizations also fell from 395 to 263 last week. Flu activity is still considered widespread in the state.
