2024 MYLE LIVESTOCK SHOW RETURNS TO FAIRMONT
The fifth annual Minnesota Youth Livestock Expo (MYLE) Livestock Show will be held on the
Martin County Fairgrounds in Fairmont, Minnesota on June 27-30. The event will feature 4-H
and FFA members and other youth livestock exhibitors from throughout Minnesota showcasing
their top-notch beef, sheep, goats and rabbits. Many of these livestock exhibits will be shown at
county fairs, the MN State Fair, and other livestock shows later this Summer. There are over
1,400 entries for the MYLE Show in Fairmont. There are an additional 875 entries for the MYLE
Swine Show which will be held on July 12-14 at the Mower County Fairgrounds in Austin, MN.
The MYLE show schedule includes sheep showmanship at 3 pm on Thursday, June 27,
followed by the breeding sheep show at 6 pm. The wether dam and market lamb competition
will highlight activities on Friday, June 28, with the show starting at 8:30 am in Kietzer Arena.
Saturday, June 29 features a busy day of shows with beef showmanship at 11 am and goat
showmanship at 4 pm, with the rabbit show at noon in the Bank Midwest Building, and wrapping
up with the market beef and prospect calf show starting at 3 pm in Kietzer Arena. The final
day, Sunday, June 30, will start off with a “cowboy prayer” and national anthem at 8:15 am in
Kietzer Arena, followed the breeding beef show will start at 8:30 am and the ABGA and market
goat show will start at 9 am in the Livestock Show Arena.
There will be food available all four days from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Martin County
Pork Producers, and O’Scoops ice cream. The MYLE Livestock Show relies on sponsorships
and donations to cover show costs and provide awards to the youth exhibitors. For more
