The March 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.49 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report. 

This was 9 cents below the February price but 2 cents above the March 2019 price. 

The March 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $7.40 per bushel, was down 42 cents from the February price and down $1.17 from the March 2019 price. 

The March 2020 price for spring wheat was $4.76 per bushel, up 38 cents from February but down 88 cents from March 2019. 

All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $128.00 per ton in March, down $10.00 from the February price and $53.00 per ton less than March 2019. 

The alfalfa hay price was $139.00 per ton, down $17.00 from February and $47.00 below a year ago. 

The other hay price was $90.00, down $11.00 from February and $63.00 below a year ago. 

The March average price for milk was $18.20 per cwt, down $1.60 from February but up 40 cents from one year ago. 

Prices received for milk cows for dairy herd replacement averaged $1,100 per head as of April 1, 2020.
