Field Activities Still Limited in Latest Crop Progress Report

Scattered reports of river flooding were reported.

Limited field activities included farmers spreading manure where the ground was solid enough to support the equipment.

Respondents reported areas still having frost in the soil. Cattle producers continued spring calving.

Topsoil moisture supplies were rated 1 percent very short, 1 percent short, 51 percent adequate, and 47 percent surplus.

Subsoil moisture supplies were rated 0 percent very short, 1 percent short, 50 percent adequate, and 49 percent surplus.
