Corn Down, Soybeans Up in Latest MN Ag Prices Report
The April 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.14 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
This was 35 cents below the March price and 22 cents below the April 2019 price.
The April 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $8.07 per bushel, was up 67 cents from the March price but down 4 cents from the April 2019 price.
The April 2020 price for spring wheat was $4.48 per bushel, down 28 cents from March and down 83 cents from April 2019.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $122.00 per ton in April, down $6.00 from the March price and $52.00 per ton less than April 2019.
The alfalfa hay price was $139.00 per ton, unchanged from March but $47.00 below a year ago.
The other hay price was $87.00, down $3.00 from March and $48.00 below a year ago.
The April average price for milk was $14.00 per cwt, down $4.20 from March and down $4.30 from one year ago.
