Redwood County EDA and other community partners across West Central Minnesota are pooling their resources to host the second West Central Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, January 18th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Organizations and Human Resources or Recruitment professionals seeking an alternative platform to connect with job seekers are encouraged to participate in the West Central Virtual Career Fair. As a registered employer, you will attend the live event and interact online with job seekers by collecting resumes, conduct interviews and engage in pre-hiring conversations to shorten the time to employment. This is a great opportunity to promote job opening and highlight your organization. There is a $50 registration fee to participate, and will give you access to view registrants the day before for recruitment purposes and schedule virtual interviews all from the comfort of the office.

The West Central Virtual Career Fair is also available to those seeking employment. During the virtual career fair job seekers create a profile and discreetly visit employers. Upload your resume, add a profile picture and even record a video to answer general interview questions for employers to review.

The Redwood County Economic Development Authority (EDA) understands this is a very competitive job market. Job seekers can be selective on not only pay and benefits, but other perks like a flexible schedule, educational and career growth opportunities, and aligning with an employer whose culture correspond with their values. The goal of sponsoring this Career Fair is to provide county businesses another method to engage with prospective employees to meet their workforce needs.
