November 1: The Wabasso Library’s 33rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Sunday, November 1st at the Wabasso Community Center. Due to COVID-19, there will unfortunately be no vendors or booths this year, but the luncheon, silent auction, and book sale are still on. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged. The turkey/bbq lunch will primarily be takeout and drive-thru, with limited seating allowed for dine-in. Lunch includes choice of turkey or bbq sandwiches, chips, pickles, and cupcake, and will be served from 11:00 – 1:00 pm. No reservations; first come, first served. Drive thru will be in the alleyway next to the Community Center, accessed via the west end of the parking lot. The silent auction will also be held at the Community Center, from 10:30 – 1:00 pm. Bids will be accepted in-person, or by posting your bid as a comment on the item’s photo through the Library’s Facebook page, or by calling 507-342-5279. Donations for the silent auction can be made and are greatly appreciated. The Book Sale is currently being held at the Wabasso Library during regular business hours throughout the month of October. It will also be open during the luncheon on Sunday, November 1st, from 10:30 – 1:30 pm in the library basement. If you have questions, or would like to volunteer to help in the kitchen, or for set up/take down, stop in or give the Library a call at 507-342-5279.
