The Chippewa County Historical Society is pleased to announce that a traveling World War I exhibit, entitled, ‘Many Were Called, Our Entire Region Responded – How the
Great War hit home in West Central Minnesota’ will be on display in the Village Hall at the Historic Chippewa City, a pioneer village, from August 12 through September 20. Hours for Historic Chippewa City are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm and Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays 1 pm – 5 pm through Labor Day. The exhibit will be accessible during regular hours, Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm in September. During the time of this exhibit, veterans of any military branch will be admitted free of charge to Historic Chippewa City. Thank you to all veterans have served. Historic Chippewa City is located at 151 Arnie Anderson Drive, at the junctions of Highways 7 & 59 in Montevideo.
