The Loose Gravel Music Festival will be held on Saturday, July 29th at the Wilder Outdoor Theater near Walnut Grove. MUSIC & Vendors Start at 3:00 p.m. Food, beverages, vendors and a full day of good music are in store. This festival brings Bluegrass and Americana music right to you. Minnesota artists in the line up include Kindred Spirit, The Watermelon Slush, Nate Boots and the High Horses and headliners, the Double Down Daredevils.

Kindred Spirit is a Marshall area trio with music rooted in jazz and blues from the pasty and today.

The Watermelon Slush is a southern Minnesota band mixing Folk, Blues and Americana to get your feet movin’. Nate Boots & The High Horses perform acoustic-electric alt-folk music and hail from the Mankato bend of the Minnesota River.

Headliners, The Double Down Daredevils, features bluegrass and American with lots of great harmony. This all may have started out as a young fellow at a gravel pit keg party but has endured as a great musical legacy with each player’s contribution, a volume in itself.

New this year, will be a vendor area for those great items you really need but can never quite find. Food and beverages will be offered by Sweet Kettle Madness, Painted Prairie Vineyard, Iron & Ash BBQ and The LEE Family! Also primitive overnight camping available.
