PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Redwood County & Brown County Joint Drainage Authority, sitting as the drainage authority for Judicial Ditch No. 17, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 103E.806, subd. 3(a), and 103E.227, shall hold a public hearing on the petition of Mathiowetz Investment Holdings, LLC and the Redwood County Soil and Water Conservation District to abandon and reroute the following described portion of Judicial Ditch No. 17.
The plan of development proposes to remove/abandon approximately 2500 feet of Branch 6 and approximately 1000 feet of Branch 6D, consisting of concrete pipe ranging in size from 6-inch to 15-inch. The proposed ditch realignment will begin about 500 feet from the top of Branch 6D. The new alignment will run northeast to intercept Branch 6, then east and southeast where it will tie back into into the existing 16-inch tile of Branch 6, near Terrace Avenue. Two 12-inch inspection intakes are proposed on the re-routed line.
The petition is available under the “Drainage Proceedings” tab on the Environmental Department page on the Redwood County website. https://redwoodcounty-mn.us/departments/environmental-office/
