He loved to golf, play pickle ball and to visit with friends.  Dale especially loved spending time with his family.

Dale is survived by his wife Lynn Nelson of 57 years; daughter: Kelly Hoffman; daughter-in-law Julie Nelson; grandchildren: Kristina (Jeremy Thurman) Nelson, Ryan (Ayla Snyder) Hoffman, Kayla Nelson, Lacey (Cody) Groebner, Elijah (Melissa) Nelson, Jessica (Michael) Lawler, Katelyn and William Nelson; great grandchildren: Lily, Paisley, Jacob, Olivia, Isabella, Amelia, Lily, Violet and Leo; and siblings: Judie Harnack and Bob Nelson.
