The December 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.73 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
This was 15 cents above the November price and 22 cents above the December 2019 price.
The December 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $10.40 per bushel, was up 49 cents from the November price and up $2.00 from the December 2019 price.
The December 2020 price for spring wheat was $5.15 per bushel, up 33 cents from November and up 51 cents from December 2019.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $115.00 per ton in December, up $5.00 from the November price but $43.00 per ton less than December 2019.
The alfalfa hay price was $134.00 per ton, up $3.00 from November but $36.00 below a year ago.
The other hay price was $80.00, down $8.00 from November and $39.00 below a year ago.
The December average price for milk was $18.70 per cwt, down $5.30 from November and down $3.40 from one year ago.
Prices received for milk cows for dairy herd replacement averaged $1,260 per head as of January 1, 2021.
