Summary of Redwood County Board meeting for April 7
The following is a summary of the Redwood County County Board meeting held April 7:
- Approved the agenda; March 17th, March 26th and April 2nd minutes; bills.
- Proclaimed April 7, 2020 as National Service Recognition Day.
- Approved CUP 2-20 filed by USS Solar O/B/O Wayne Weber for a Community Solar Garden.
- Approved an extension of the 2019 business development grant recipient’s deadline from August 31, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
- Directed Mumme to explore the development of a Redwood County COVID-19 business emergency loan fund program with terms and conditions brought to the Board for final approval.
- Approved the MN State Law Library/County Law Library Program Agreement.
- Approved Road and Bridge bills.
- Approved the final payment to R & G Construction for SAP 064-593-001.
- Approved the CSAH 6 revised pavement project.
- Directed Forsberg to draft a County Highway Right of Way Turf Maintenance Policy and bring to the Board for approval.
- Approve the Tower and Equipment Construction Agreement with Sabre Industries.
- Approve the Pictometry change order for the 2020 aerial flight from early Spring to mid summer.
- Approved the CAC Interagency Agreement.
- Adopted Proclamation recognizing the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month in Redwood County.
- Approved the Summit Companies Inspection Services Agreements for the Government Center, LEC, Highway Shop and the Courthouse.
- Adopted resolution proclaiming April as Sexual Awareness Month in Redwood County.
- Approved to hire Amy Busse as FT Assistant County Attorney effective 5-11-20 on the non-union salary schedule at Grade 18, Step 12 due to experience.
