The September 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $2.95 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
This was 10 cents above the August price but 62 cents below the September 2019 price.
The September 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $9.02 per bushel, was up 47 cents from the August price and up 61 cents from the September 2019 price.
The September 2020 price for spring wheat was $4.57 per bushel, up 12 cents from August and up 22 cents from September 2019.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $109.00 per ton in September, up $4.00 from the August price but down $12.00 from September 2019.
The alfalfa hay price was $124.00 per ton, $2.00 above the August price but $10.00 below a year ago.
The other hay price was $86.00, down $2.00 from August but unchanged from a year ago.
The September average price for milk was $18.80 per cwt, down $1.10 from August and down $1.80 from September 2019.
Prices received for milk cows for dairy herd replacement averaged $1,240 per head as of October 1, 2020.
