Woman, Two Children Injured In Morton Crash

A woman and two children were injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday in Morton.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 27-year-old Ashley Marie Vangsness of Morton was westbound on Highway 71/19 when she lost control of the GMG Envoy she was driving a struck a concrete barrier.  The Envoy then crossed the traffic lanes, struck another barrier and stopped in a traffic lane.

Vangsness received non-life threatening injuries in the crash.  Her two passengers, Brooklynn Rae Bernhardson, age 4, and Camden Russell Bernhardson, age 2, also suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the state patrol.

All three were transported to Redwood Area Hospital for treatment.
