First half of Redwood County property taxes due May 15

Jean Price, Auditor-Treasurer of Redwood County, issued the following statement Tuesday, May 9:

The first half property taxes on all real estate are due and payable Monday, May 15, 2017.

·      Payments sent in by mail must be POSTMARKED no later than May 15, 2017.

·      Payments made on line must be DATED no later than May 15, 2017.

·      Payments made at the drop box must be RECEIVED no later than May 15, 2017.

The drop box is located on the north side of the Government Center.

Penalty will be imposed on late payments per schedule on the back of the tax statement.

If paying the first half only, please send in only the stub for the 1st half, and retain the 2nd half stub for the October 16, 2017, or the November 15, 2017, payment.
