On Sunday, February 19, 2012, approximately 3:42 AM, the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle crash, which occurred on State Hwy 19 near the intersection of Renville County Road 27, which is about two miles east of Fairfax, MN.
Investigation at the scene revealed that Michael T. Zeidler, age 25 of Redwood Falls, MN, was driving a 2010 Ford Escape on Highway 19 when he was rear-ended by a 2012 Kia Soul, driven by Jorge Munoz Jr., age 20 of Gibbon, MN. The crash caused Zeidler’s vehicle to drive onto the shoulder of the roadway, where both vehicles then came to rest.  No injuries were reported by either driver.
Munoz was arrested at the scene and is being held at the Renville County Jail on DWI and other alcohol and traffic violations.
The crash was investigated by the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.
