On 02-18-2012, at approximately 2308 hours, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a one vehicle roll over near 5245 150th Ave Wood Lake, MN. Yellow Medicine Deputy found the vehicle located in the yard of the 5245 150^th Ave. There were five passengers in the vehicle along with the driver. One of the passengers was still in the vehicle and was taken out by Fire and Ambulance service. Five out of six people in the vehicle were transported to Marshall Hospital to be treated. One male passenger suffered severe injuries and was later flown out by helicopter.
Cottonwood Fire Department, Cottonwood Ambulance, Wood Lake First Responders, Wood Lake Fire Department, and North Ambulance all assisted on the call. The case is still under investigation at this time.
