The community can now expect a more engaging user experience when visiting Redwood Area Hospital’s updated website, www.redwoodareahospital.org.
Redwood Area Hospital is recognized for great patient experience and wanted to create an online experience that reflects that. The new website displays the hospital’s commitment to using up-to-date technology to provide a high quality healthcare experience for guests, both internally and externally.
“Community health education and well-being are so important to us,” said Katherine Brozek, Redwood Area Hospital communications manager. “We wanted the new website to reflect that, by providing another way for people in the area to find the health information they need with a connection to their community and the health resources available to them locally.”
Content and navigation were reorganized to provide an efficient user experience. As users browse the site, they will see relevant health articles, news and events featured for them on each page.
Along with the new website, visitors will see an updated logo and creative look, which embodies the beautifully designed space the hospital created with their 2008 remodel. The hospital changed their tagline to “Strong Healthcare. Strong Community” which aligns with the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare for our communities.”
The hospital worked with several community partners to accomplish the project. Kristin (Hildebrandt) Bakeberg provided support for logo design and creative look, Tony Miller captured the hospital experience and staff with his photography, and Sarah Kuglin with RV Tech Solutions provided Web design and expertise in creating a functional and efficient user experience.
“Our work together with a collective knowledge and understanding of community really helped to make the new website a great tool,” Brozek said.
