night to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Charlotte Bobcats

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Wild have recalled two

appeared in eight games for the Wild, while Jeff Taffe has played

in three. To make room, forward Kris Foucault was reassigned to the

Houston Aeros, and Carson McMillan was placed on injured reserve.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Twins have agreed on a one-year

contract worth nearly $1.4 million with second baseman Alexi

Casilla. The deal completed yesterday avoided an arbitration

hearing. Casilla was the Twins' last remaining unsigned

arbitration-eligible player.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The NFL Players Association has asked a

federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a group of retired

players. The suit alleges the union unfairly reduced benefit
