"One in five Minnesota jobs is agriculture related," said Senator Dahms. "As Vice Chair of the Senate Agriculture and Rural Economies Committee, I’m always working on ways to keep that industry strong. I’m proud to author this jobs bill, a result of collaboration between the Minnesota Senate, the Minnesota House and the Department of Agriculture."
One of Senator Dahms’ constituents, Ralco Nutrition, Inc., brought the regulatory roadblock to his attention. Ralco Nutrition, Inc. is an innovative, global company based in Marshall, Minnesota.
"I am optimistic that we can continue to move this legislation forward with a shared vision of job growth," said Senator Dahms. "Government should not be an obstacle for our job creators; we should work side by side with them to ensure their opportunity to thrive in Minnesota."
The Senate Agriculture and Rural Economies Committee heard Senate File 1527 and passed the bill to the Senate State Government and Veterans Committee.
