Delbert Huber and his son Tim, both of rural Paynesville, are being sued by the family of the man allegedly shot by Delbert.
The attorney that represents the family of Tim Larson of Albertville, shot to death on his father's farm near Belgrade October 8th has filed a wrongful death suit against the Hubers, and they have added Huber's sister, Elsie Wagner of Sioux Falls, and his neice, Cherry Demarias of Howard Lake, as co-defendants, accusing them of fraudulent conveyance.
The attorney believes that Huber illegally transferred ownership of his land to Demarais and Wagner to avoid payment to creditors
Wright County Judge Jonathan Jasper granted them an attachment to the suit preventing the land from being sold or disposed of until after the lawsuit is settled.
He says they are trying to preserve Huber's land for Tim Larson's widow and two young sons.
