Norma Neperman, age 88, of Lamberton, MN died Saturday at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 at 11am at the United Methodist Church in Lamberton.
Visitation will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton on Monday from 5-8 pm and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

Norma Ann Neperman was born on November 23, 1923 in Green Isle Township, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Voight) Dose. After her education, Norma worked as a waitress at the Glencoe Truck Stop and Spencer’s Café. Norma was united in marriage to Darold Neperman on May 14, 1949 in Lamberton. She continued to work for the Municipal Liquor store in Lamberton and as a TMA at Valley View Manor Care Center, retiring in 1981. Norma was active with the United Methodist Church, Ladies Aid, Lamberton Legion Auxiliary, and the Lamberton Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, ironing, baking, playing bingo at Jackpot, watching the Minnesota Twins, and Vikings, and NASCAR racing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. Norma entered Vista Ridge in Springfield in August of 2011 and became a resident of St. John Lutheran Home in December of 2011.
Norma died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN at the age of 88 years.
She is survived by a daughter – Pat (Bob) Simonson of Sanborn, MN; sons – Terry (Mary) Neperman and Tom (Karen) Neperman both of Lamberton, MN; grandchildren – Chris (Nikki) Neperman of Sanborn, Paul (Marisa) Simonson of Springfield, Amy Simonson of Shakopee, Andrea (Jeremy) Kronbach of Janesville, Megan (Kris) Imker of Lamberton, Ashley Neperman and fiancé Justin Opdahl of Slayton, Shane Neperman of Tyler, and Emily Neperman of Marshall, a brother – Melvin (Marcella) Dose of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Darold in 2010; sons – Howie and Steve; a grandson – Matthew; and a great grandson – Isaiah Kronbach.
