Richard Saxton



Richard Saxton age 71 of Wabasso passed away on January 20 at the
Golden Living Center in Wabasso. Services will be held on Wednesday
January 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in
Wabasso with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be
held one hour prior to the service at St. Matthew's. Arrangements
are being handled by Sunset Funeral Home of Echo and Wabasso.



Richard Lewis Saxton was born February 22, 1940, south of Tracy, Minn.
to
Chester and Dolores Saxton. He was baptized in Holy Methodist Church
southwest of Walnut Grove. He attended country school at District 38,
southeast of Tracy for seven years. In 1949, his family moved to Lucan
where he graduated from Milroy High School in 1958. He worked at
various jobs throughout his life including working at the Redwood
County Landfill. Richard was united in marriage to Marion Vind Deibler
at Westbrook on November 19, 1977.
Richard L. Saxton passed away on January 20, 2012 at the Golden Living
Center in Wabasso attaining the age of 71 years, 11 months and 29
days. He is survived by daughter Katherine Deibler and granddaughter
Marianna, all of Wabasso; his sisters JoAnn (Vernon) Jaeger of
Lamberton and Julie Kay Magrane of Carson City, Nev.; brother Raymond
(Juliann) Saxton of Ottertail, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marion, Dec. 31, 2007 and his
parents.
