Donna Marie Moldan, age 71, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Visitation will be at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM and on Friday from 7:30 to 10:00 AM. There will be a parish prayer service Thursday at the funeral home at 7:30pm. Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:30 AM The Clergy will be Msgr. Eugene Lozinski Interment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Donna Marie Moldan was born on January 19, 1940 in Springfield, MN to Florian & Veronica (Hornick) Schroepfer. She grew up and attended school in Springfield and graduated from Springfield High School in 1958. Donna married Ervan Moldan on May 23, 1960 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the CCW and Catholic Aid Society. Donna was a kind, caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling to Alaska and Hawaii, listening to country and gospel music and visiting with family.
She is survived by her husband, Ervan Moldan of Sleepy Eye, children, Curtis Moldan of Sleepy Eye, Susan Brown of Redwood Falls and grandchildren, Kyle Brown, Cassandra Brown and Gracie Moldan. She was preceded in death by her parents.
