Reminder
The Annual Meeting is Feb. 2 - we would appreciate your reservations and ticket money into the Chamber Office by Thursday, January 26th. It will be a very exciting evening! This year we will have individual competition instead of business competition. Several radio stations and Advance Press have given door prizes.   So far we have one business door prize and that is a product basket from Absolute Salon.   We would love to have several more from our businesses. Let Marlys know if you wish to offer a door prize for the evening.
Ken Koll will be receiving the Spirit of Springfield Award – a well deserved recognition. His work and volunteerism has been a huge benefit to our community.
Congratulations to Ken and Richert Bus Service
Ken’s name was drawn to receive a $100 reduction in his 2012 membership.

Community Center Show Case Windows
Here is an advertising opportunity for free advertising for Chamber members.   If you wish to display products from your business in the Community Center show case windows (there are 2) please give Marlys a call – so we can line you up. It would be nice to have them in the windows for 1 month. There are hundreds of people coming in the Center some weeks and many people would see your products. You should have a sign – name – phone number and web site if you have one.

Welcome to Springfield Bags
Any Chamber business may place an advertisement in these Welcome Bags. There is no charge to the business, all you have to do bring me a flier to insert them into these bags. We ask that you make up 100 at a time. This is an inexpensive way to advertise your business.
Campground Packets
Camping season seems a ways off, but Mary Schmitz, Community Center Director is busy taking in reservations. New this year - campers may register with a credit card. So easy to do!    We usually put together 700 Packets.   Chamber members can insert your flier (needs to be 8 ½ X11 size) Free in the packet.   Weather permitting most of the time the campground is filled.   We are looking forward to a busy camping season for Springfield.

Thank you for supporting Springfield with your Chamber membership. YOU are appreciated!
Working and promoting together is the key to success!
