Pauline Clements





*Pauline Clements, 88, of Clements died Friday, January 6, 2012 at the
Springfield Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Redwood Falls Cemetery.*

*Pauline Shellar Clements, the daughter of Ernist and Rosale (McCandle)
Latham, was born June 22, 1923 in Lumberton, Mississippi. She was raised
in rural Lumberton and received her formal education at the Lumberton
school.*


*On February 12, 1944, Pauline married Bob Weldon Clements, Sr. in Lemar
County, Mississippi. Bob was in the Army; when he retired from the
service, the family settled in Doland, South Dakota. Pauline was a
seamstress and a homemaker. While living in Lumberton, she worked for a
company that made clothing for Hollywood actresses.*


*Pauline was a member of various Baptist and Pentecostal churches. Her
faith was very important to her. Pauline also enjoyed sewing and cooking.*

*She is survived by her son Bob Weldon Clements, Jr. of rural Clements;
granddaughter Heidi Angela Sorensen of San Diego, California; and her
great-grandchildren Carly and Greyson Sorensen. Pauline was preceded in
death by her husband Bob W. Clements, Sr., and her seven brothers and
sisters.*
