Ben Braulick, Jr, 78, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Friday, December 23, 2011 at
Ridgeway on German in New Ulm, MN.

Visitation will be at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye on Monday  from  4 to
8 PM and on Tuesday  from  7:30 to 10 AM.

There will be a Parish Prayer Service on Monday at 7:00 PM at the Sturm
Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, MN.

Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 27,
2011 at 10:30 AM.

Interment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Sleepy Eye, MN.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, MN.

        Benjamin Otto Braulick was born on November 21, 1933 in Stark
Township, the son of Bernard and Ida (Neidecker) Braulick.  He attended St.
Mary's boarding school in Sleepy Eye.  He was united in marriage to Shirley
Guggisberg on September 20, 1955 at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New
Ulm, MN.  He farmed on the home farm for 50+ years and was a Berg Equipment
dealer. Ben was a member of St. John's Society, Knights of Columbus, The
Eagles, Stark Baseball Association, and St. Mary's Catholic Church.  He
enjoyed old time music, trap shooting, summers at Morning Star Resort,
snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, playing the drums and harmonica.  Ben loved
life, farming, and John Deere tractors.

        He is survived by his wife - Shirley Braulick of Sleepy Eye, MN;
children - Mike "Gus" (Brenda) Braulick of St. Augusta, MN, Greg (Debbie)
Braulick of Sleepy Eye, MN, Joe (Karen) Braulick of Sleepy Eye, MN, Laurie
(Paul) Hillesheim of Sleepy Eye, MN, and Katie (D.J.) Johnson of Lakeville,
MN; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister - Bernice (Norbert)
Sturm of Springfield, MN; a brother - Ervin Braulick of Sleepy Eye, MN,
sisters-in-law - Evelyn (Kurt) Domeier of New Ulm, MN, Lois Berg of New Ulm,
MN, and Kathleen (Dennis) Helget of Comfrey, MN, brothers-in-law - Linus
(Loraine) Guggisberg of Essig, MN, Charles (Carol) Guggisberg of New Ulm,
MN, Elmer (Lois) Guggisberg of New Ulm, MN,  Jerry (Suzy) Guggisberg of New
Ulm, MN; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his
parents; a great grandson - Gabriel Braulick; a sister-in-law - Rita
Braulick; and a brother-in-law - Eldor Berg.
