EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian

Peterson is listed as probable to return to the lineup tomorrow

against the New Orleans Saints after missing the past three games

with a high ankle sprain. Coach Leslie Frazier said Peterson's

ankle responded well to increased repetitions in practice this

week.

 


ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - Drew Shore's goal 1:19 into overtime

gave Denver a 3-2 win over St. Cloud State yesterday in the Western

Collegiate Hockey Association. Travis Novak scored at 17:53 of the

third period for the Huskies to force overtime. Cam Reid added a

goal for St. Cloud State.

 


MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - Colorado College's David Civitarese scored

the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Tigers to a 2-1

Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Minnesota State,

Mankato yesterday. Austin Lee made 29 stops for the Mavericks

(5-13-1, 2-10-1). He had four saves in overtime.

 


MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Ricky Rubio is ready for his debut. The

highly touted Spanish star will play an NBA game for the first time

when his Minnesota Timberwolves host the Milwaukee Bucks today in

their preseason opener.
