Multiple agencies were involved in the arrest of 26 individuals for felony level control substance crimes in Redwood County.
The arrests culminated in a year long investigation led by the Lincoln, Lyon, Brown, Redwood and Renville County drug task force unit.
The sale and possession of drugs in Redwood County included-Heroin, Cocaine, Methamphetamines and Marijuana.
22 of the individuals charged were arrested in a mass operation this morning and 4 others were arrested and appeared in court on Monday, December 5th.
Redwood County Attorney, Steven Collins is praising the work of the law enforcement agencies involved. “The Drug Task Force, working with our local law enforcement, put in long hours over several months to make strong cases against these defendants,” said Collins. “It is a credit to them that so many defendants were arrested without incident.”
More arrests are possible.
