Duane Rohlik




Duane Rohlik, age 75, of Seaforth, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at his home in Seaforth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at  10:30 am on Monday, December 12, 2011 from St. Mary’s Catholic  Church in Seaforth with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday December 11, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. with parish prayer  service at 7:30 p.m at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaforth.
Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday  December 12, 2011 at the church. Arrangements are being handled by  Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso.

Duane (Hank-Tiny) Rohlik was found deceased on December 6, 2011 in his home. He was born on July 22, 1936 in Redwood County to Leo and Ann  (Bernardy) Rohlik. He served in the United States Army from 1957 to  1958 and spent some time in Germany. His last employment was with  Bisbee Plumbing and Heating in Marshall. He loved hunting, fishing and watching Wabasso School sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his
family.

Duane is survived by his sisters; Donna Helget of Sleepy Eye, Betty  Russell of Redwood Falls, Rosemary (Leroy) Panitzke of Belview;  sisters-in-law; Marian Rohlik of Chaska, Jackie Schlenner of Granite Falls and many nieces and nephews along with his good friend Maynard  Martensen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bernard and Eugene,  sister and brother-in-law Don and Clara Ryan, sister Gloriann in  infancy and brothers-in-law Marvin Helget and Douglas Russell.
