The case against 81 year old Delbert Huber of Paynesville has been delayed again.

Huber was indicted earlier this month on 1st and 2nd Degree Murder Charges for the shooting death of Tim Larson on a farm near Belgrade .

Huber was denied a public defender because he owns 96 acres of land in Stearns County with an assessed value of around $300,000.

In previous court appearances Huber said he had not yet secured a lawyer, and the same was true yesterday at the Kandiyohi County Courthouse in Willmar.


A relative of Huber's explained to the Judge that they were close to getting a loan so they can hire an attorney from Litchfield.

Larson, 43, a special education teacher in the St. Michael-Albertville school district was shot on his father's farm.
