Former State Representative, Allen Quist, announced this week that he would be touring southern Minnesota to launch his campaign for Congress against Representative Tim Walz. State DFL Chair Ken Martin released this statement:

“As a State Representative, Allen Quist led an extreme Republican movement that fought for the millionaires and special interests at the expense of the middle class. Allen Quist, like Senator Parry, is an extreme, Tea Party politician. The choice will be clear in 2012 and Minnesotans will re-elect Representative Walz who has led a tireless fight for the middle class and our nation's veterans.”
